Quality Control & Service Disappointments

On 1/10/11, I ordered 5 of your flex change 7 color LED light strings for installation this Christmas. About three weeks ago, I tested each for about 30 seconds, put them up, and discovered that half of each of two strings didn't work. I took them down, called you folks and was told to try new fuses, which had no effect. Then I was told that you would send out replacements and I didn't have to send back the bad strings (good news) but the replacements wouldn't be exactly the same - they would only be five color (not seven) and not flex change. That was not such good news and of course I had to pay for the shipping. So I waited a week, and when the "replacements" came, I discovered that there was another difference that wasn't disclosed: instead of the 24' 5" of the originals, these were 17' long. And that of course meant I had to redo everything else I had done which was a LOT of work. I can only conclude that the three year warranty you represent is worthless and as to your being out of the model I bought originally, one would think you would think you would keep some product in reserve for exactly these situations. You've lost a customer.

Hi Steve, I'm really sorry about this. We are not the manufacturer so we do not control what products are produced or discontinued. In this case, the Flex-Change line which you purchased last January were discontinued so we could not replace your defective set with exactly what you had before. Unfortunately, we received several cases of the multicolor lights that were 17' and not 24' as they were supposed to be. We did not discover this until shortly after we sent you your replacement set. We did everything that we could to make this right for you. We do the best we can but we are not perfect and some of these things are simply not in our control. I'm sorry that this did not work out well for you. If you still do not feel that we've made this right please feel free to contact us and we will give you a full refund.

I plugged in all the lights too make sure thay worked. YES thay did
and thay look great......

We ordered some Blue and Gold lights to decorate our deck in the Notre Dame colors during the football season. The lights were promptly delivered. When my husband opened the box he told me that there were only 2 strands of lights in the box and not the 3 that we had paid for. I contacted Holiday LEDS right away and told them of the mistake--they said that another strand would be shipped right away. About 15 minutes later my husband realized that he had taken a strand out and set it in the kitchen. Again I contacted them and told them that we had found the 3rd strand. They told me that the strand had already been shipped and for us to go ahead and keep it. This was so generous of them.

The lights are awesome and in spite of being quite small put off a great deal of light. Thank you so much. Mary S.
